Accommodations:

What if I’m out of town and need to book a hotel for the 2017 Conference?
Once you have registered for the Conference, go to the Accommodations section of the website and click on the link “Click here to Book Now!” This will give you access to special prices at the Westin Hotel from Monday September 18 to Thursday September 21, 2017.

Does the hotel have a discount for the days before and after the Conference?
There are no guarantees that the discount will be applied to rooms booked before or after the conference. Please contact the Westin Calgary hotel directly and advise you are attending the CAPL Conference. The Westin will review and advise on a case-by-case basis depending on availability at the time.

How do I register for the 2017 Conference?
Click on the registration link to register you and a guest (if applicable) for the Conference.

How much is the Conference and what does it cover?

CAPL Member Delegate Fee – $650 plus GST to July 31 ($750 beginning August 1) – includes all sessions, events and meals and up to 4 educational sessions being held on Monday and Thursday.  Excludes activities which are an additional cost.

CAPL Non-Member Delegate Fee – $750 plus GST to July 31 ($850 beginning August 1) – includes all sessions, events and meals and up to 4 educational sessions being held on Monday and Thursday.  Excludes activities which are an additional cost.

Guest Fee – $300 plus GST – includes all 4 Keynote speakers, meals as well as the Welcoming Reception and Landman Social. Subject to Member and Non-Member Delegates, guests may have access to the sessions held on Tuesday and Wednesday however Delegates will have first priority.  Excludes educational sessions held on Monday and Thursday and activities.  Guests may sign up for activities at an additional cost.

There will be no refunds starting on August 1.

 

Do I need to pay the guest fee if my guest is only coming to one event?
Yes, the guest fee is an all-inclusive fee which is an additional charge for all attendees.  There are also additional fees for Activities.

I can’t find my confirmation of what I registered for, how do I get a copy?

When I arrive at the Conference, where do I pick up my delegate package and what time is the registration desk open?

Name badges only will be available at the Welcoming Reception at The Bow.

Registration Desk will be at the Markin MacPhail Centre at COP on Tuesday September 19 from 7:30am to 2:00pm and on Wednesday September 20, 2017 from 7:30am to 12:00pm.
